Prayer 04/11/25

Lord,

You promise to never leave us or forsake us. You stand by our side whether we are in the midst of troubles or filled with joy. There is no time on this earth we are without you. Help us to feel your presence. May we pray, meditate on your word, and worship so that we can feel all the more that you are here. You speak to us through your sacred text, and I pray we lean into the ancient words recorded so long ago that bring us the knowledge of the gospel: Christ is born. Christ has died. Christ has risen! As Easter approaches, may our hearts be filled with solemnity as your son goes to the cross and rejoice when he returns, victorious and with the promise of a new world. We praise you, Lord, always and forever. Amen.
